My goal being a teacher is to create in my students a thorough understanding and self-confidence when answering exam questions and being capable to deal with new cases. The base of my ideology is the idea that learning develops in an atmosphere of mutual recognition where the student is motivated to think and establish links on their own. My practice has been that private training has a special benefit to students through the opportunity to break down the students' personal difficulties to learning in a manner that sets the foundations for a lasting and thorough comprehension of the course.
Student’s needs and learning style matter
My approach differs depending on the child's learning style and needs. However, the basis of my teaching philosophy is inspiring scholars to think for themselves, applying existing situations everywhere possible. |To my mind it is vital to supply students with a working skills and to exercise analytical skill sets for improving upon this knowledge. Tutoring a person to think critically is at the fundamental of the things a person have to take away from any subject training.
The most important contribution
The most enduring contributions a teacher are able to make is coaching students, and it is a technique, which I consider to be pleasurable and rewarding. From my experience, I discovered the importance of involving learners by using examples and of pitching content at a degree that implies intellect but not always knowledge, mixing the known with the unknown as a combination which gives the scholar the sensation of likelihood rather than that one of impossibility that impressive and formal techniques may enforce.
My teaching tricks
I begin with topics the children are good with and proceed little by little towards more complicated places as long as their self-esteem is being built. I use questions and examples to monitor comprehending permanently. I tend not to lecture to scholars or request them to remember information. Neither do I carry out the students' assignments for them!
I usually focus on test-style or prior paper questions in order to check, exercise and refine the learner's recognising and capacity. I even give a lot of importance to many of the not so much evident yet necessary skill sets which include logical thought, essay technique and structure, and the good use of graphs and numbers.
